Prambanan temple the Most Beautiful Hindu Temple in the World
Prambanan is located on the border of Yogyakarta and Central Java. Prambanan temple is extraordinarily beautiful building constructed in the 10th century during the reigns of two kings namely Rakai Balitung and Rakai Pikatan . Reputated as the most beautiful and biggest Hindhus Temple in Indonesia, and locally known as Roro Jonggrang temple.
The temple was damaged shortly after construction. Prambanan Temple compound was rebuilt in 1918. Reconstruction of the main building was completed about 1953. Be mentioned here that the Prambanan temples have been declared World Heritage Site UNESCO.
Yogyakarta we made a trip to both Borobudur and Prambanan, starts at 05:00 with sunrise over the past. Although both impressive Prambanan is by far the most spectacular. We spent only 90 minutes, but it's worth staying longer to explore the reasons that ruins below, and the Buddhist temple nearby.
